A woman in an orange hat

There was a woman who stood at the pier

She always stood at the same spot for the past 25 years

She always came at the exact time, stood in the

Middle of the pier looking out toward the sea

What ever this strange behaviour may seem unusual for

Others, I notice she wasn’t alone she was accompany by a

Old man.

I was curious for there must be a reason behind this

I live near by the sea; I often strode along the pier in the early

Hours just to catch the glimpse of sunrise.

I often see this woman wearing the same outfit each time, a bright

Orange hat and a dark blue dress.
